Pond: Born in Korea, he lost his father and mother just a few years after his birth in the Korean War. A young GI took the orphaned boy to the USA, where he was adopted by the soldier's family. As a teenager, he learned the martial art of Taekwondo, enlisted in the US Army in 1966 and was deployed in the Vietnam War, among other things. After completing his service in 1973, Daniel M. Pond received an award as one of the 30 best Taekwondo masters in the world and opened a martial arts studio in Erlensee, Hesse. His life experience, military training and experience in martial arts formed the cornerstone of the founding of Pond Security Service in 1983. From the very first days of the company, Daniel M. The founder of Pond Security Service, Daniel M. Pond, has an impressive life story that is characterized by the Korean War, military operations and successes in Taekwondo.
An orphan of the Korean War (1950-1953), Daniel is adopted by an American soldier and grows up in the USA. He joined the US Army in 1966, served in the Vietnam War and was later stationed in Germany.
After his military service, he devoted himself to his passion for martial arts: in 1973, he opened a studio for Asian martial arts in Erlensee. In the same year, he was recognized as one of the 30 best taekwondo fighters in the world and won the vice world champion title.
